Role : Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Experience and Qualification :

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred) Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA or CPA) 8 - 10 year’s experience in a senior financial managerial position Must have lead a team of at least four Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Microsoft Dynamics and financial reporting software Exceptional communication skills Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner
Description :
  • Execute financial strategy of the Council
  • Manage financial controls and accounting procedures
  • Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the council
  • Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs
  • Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
  • Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained
  • Support the Executive Director with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans
  • Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments
  • Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required

  • Support and assist in all initiatives and activities being organized by council to promote exports
  • Expand reach of council’s activity among non-members and expand membership base of council
  • Follow up and Facilitate renewal of existing members
  • Identify issues being faced by exporters and assist in taking measures to resolve them
